The Last Will and Testament of George McKnight of Ballypitmave dated 27th December 1878 This is the last Will and Testament of me George McKnight of Ballypitmave in the County of Antrim made this twenty seventhe day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight (1878) I hereby revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made. I appoint Mr John Connor of Stoneyford and Mr Joseph Willand of Ballypitmave to be my executor and direct that all my just debts and funeral and Testamentary expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I give and bequeath unto son David the sum of one pound (£1) to my son Samuel one pound (£1) to my son Joseph the sum of five pounds (£5) to my son in law Thomas Thompson the sum of five pounds (£5) to my son John five pounds (£5) to my son George thirty pounds (£30) to my son William ten pounds (£10) and to my son James all my Houses Lands and Chattels at the decease of my wife Elizabeth and I will and direct that my Houses Lands and Chattels remain in the possession of my said wife Elizabeth during the term of her natural life and I further direct that the aforesaid legacies be paid one year after my decease.
